Who's gonna program?

I think we should only have one or two programmers, not a whole community. We saw what happened to AUSEP....

Who should we hire?

I am well able to program a platform engine for you, if you want.
But more details are needed. Slopes? gridsize (I can make it non-dependant on gridsize, unless you want Dim-like ledgegrabbing)?, Walljumping (easy to do)? Skidjumping (can be done)?
I suppose roof-hugging, diving, conditioned jump height all need to be added too?

Well, I don't think we should begin programming just yet.

We should wait for more members, then we decide how the game is actually gonna be layed out. Right now, we don't know if we want AUS, dim, or jumper physics. And we dont know how the games gonna work.

Okay; now that we decided the gamplay style (see general project stuff section)

Program 3 seperate characters using Owen's spriteset.
Ogmo ;;;; Double jump, wall jump, skid jump, faster pysics & acceleration
Byrd ;;;; Double jump, divebomb(?), fire(?), slower gliding pysics no acceleration
Dim ;;;; Double jump, ledge grab (?), dimension warp(?), faster pysics no acceleration

(?) = unsure of

Well, I'm hard at work... this will be the most comprehensive platforming engine I've ever made.

So it'l be the most " in an all-inclusive manner" platformer you've ever programmed?

I sure as hell hope so, that was the original idea of Jumper 2.5 yet I ended up doing everything.
